My passion for aged care started when I needed to care for my elderly mother. Working in this sector can be challenging and the recent Royal Commission has sometimes given it a poor image. However, my experience has been fulfilling and given me a deep sense of accomplishment.
I started my career in aged care whilst at University as a care worker and have now spent 17 years ago as a RN. As I love teaching and imparting my knowledge and skills, I have also been a clinical educator in RACF and a clinical facilitator to university nursing student. I am also trained as critical nurse in a teaching trauma hospital in Sydney.
I have been a care manager for 9 years. Following my faith and career, I joined St Catherine’s Aged Care Services.
