About St Catherine’s Aged Care

St. Catherine’s opened at Marsfield in March 1957, and was Incorporated on 22nd May 1998. It takes its name from St. Catherine Laboure who became a Daughter of Charity in Paris in 1830. For over forty years she spent her every effort in caring for the aged and infirm. St. Catherine’s continues the healing ministry of Christ by providing total care through respect and commitment to each resident and their families. This is reflected in the motto of the Service: “The Charity of Christ urges us.”
